Thanks for your interest in the Colorado Waterfowl Association, the oldest club in
Colorado
We lease over 40 farms from Brighton, north to Fort Collins, and east to Fort Morgan.
We have approximately 50 goose pits and 40 duck blinds. We pride ourselves on having
the best quality farms for our members. 90% of our goose hunting is done from pit
blinds that we dig every year. Our duck blinds and goose pits are maintained by our club
members. We have a great group of members that range from novices to very
experienced. Many members join the club without hunting friends and by the end of
their first year have met several hunting partners. It’s a great way to meet people and
pursue waterfowl. Our club is focused on waterfowl hunting; however several properties
also allow dove hunting.
Our membership rate is very affordable and is broken down into monthly payments withdrawn from your checking account on the 17th of each month.
Most of our properties are only available for hunting on Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends. This allows the properties to rest, making the hunting better for all members. There are no
outfitters or secret members with access to our leases; all our farms are used 100% by
the club and its members.
Our reservation system is done by phone. We accept reservations on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. We answer calls as quickly as they come in. While you may not always get your first choice, there will always be a spot available for each member. You can make one reservation
per day, which is valid for the upcoming week until the next Wednesday.
Each member is allowed two free guest passes per year; after that, guest passes may be available for a small fee. We do this to introduce people to our club, but we also want people to join and become members rather than just hunting as guests.
Everyone is required to fill out a bio sheet and hold harmless waivers before joining the club. This is non-negotiable. In addition, each guest must sign a waiver prior to hunting/accessing
club properties.
We hope this answers some of your questions. If you think you are a good fit for our
club, please contact us, and you will meet with one of the owners to determine if we feel
you are the right fit for our club.
Thanks for your interest and happy hunting!
